Scenario and Test Coverage

Key to releasing an automated driving system or feature is understanding when you’ve done enough testing. When have you covered or tested enough of the expected eventualities that the system will encounter to enable you to deploy it?

We can work with you to assess coverage scenarios and data against the operational design domain to understand real world system performance and your risk profile. So, whether you have existing on road data, simulation data, test data collected from a proving ground, or even just a test plan, we can systematically categorise it to identify gaps where your system hasn’t been thoroughly tested and therefore needs more coverage to give you statistical confidence.

Our team go beyond just identifying gaps however. We can also categorise those gaps by level of risk and severity of impact – giving you a clear prioritisation of future testing requirements and also allowing you to understand your residual risk.
