MIRA Graduates And Apprentices To Take Part In Next Year’s Greenpower Competition

Following their success at this year’s Hinckley Soapbox Derby, MIRA’s graduates and apprentices have entered the highly competitive 2013 Greenpower Championship which includes the recently revised Corporate Challenge.

This annual event has grown hugely in popularity since its inauguration in 2008 and is set to be a fantastic opportunity for MIRA’s engineers of the future to showcase their engineering expertise.

With the technical regulations remaining the same as those found in the IET Formula 24 category, MIRA’s team will able to use two pairs of twelve volt batteries throughout the one and a half hour race, whilst ensuring that their car complies fully with a stringent set of regulations laid down by the competition’s organisers.
